CoreFlow

An early-stage concept for workflow orchestration across engineering teams.

ConceptVersionPreview

Overview

CoreFlow is an early-stage concept for coordinating engineering work as it moves between teams. It is currently at the Discovery stage of the ETES product lifecycle; no architecture or standards commitments have been made yet.

The Problem

When work moves between engineering teams, handoffs are often informal — tracked in chat threads or someone's memory rather than a shared, visible process.

Who It's For

Engineering organizations where work regularly crosses team boundaries and needs a clear handoff point.

How It Helps

CoreFlow is intended to model multi-team workflows as a connected sequence of steps, so a handoff has a defined, trackable place to land. This is still a concept-stage idea — the modeling and handoff-tracking behavior described here is not yet built.

Capabilities

Workflow Modeling

Represents multi-team engineering workflows as a connected sequence of steps.

Team Handoffs

Defines how work moves from one engineering team to the next.

Modules

Orchestration Engine

Coordinates workflow steps across the teams involved.

Handoff Tracker

Tracks where a piece of work currently sits between teams.
