From draft to official
A proposed standard is drafted, reviewed, and only becomes official once it is accepted into the Master Registry.
Lifecycle stages
Proposed, In Review, Official, and Frozen are the stages a standard passes through over its lifetime.
Exceptions and deviations
A deliberate deviation from a standard is requested and recorded through Change Management, not applied silently.
